Since 2020, The Furologist has proudly served the Colorado Springs community with exceptional care, expert knowledge, and a strong compassion for animals. Founded by Samantha Hanchett, The Furologist began with a simple vision: to provide high-quality grooming that nurtures both the beauty and the well-being of every pet. What started as a personal commitment to compassionate grooming has grown into a true team effort. Every member of our staff shares the same passion for gentle handling, continuing education, and creating a safe, positive experience for every pet who walks through our doors. Our team follows strict cleaning protocols between every appointment, sanitizes tools and workspaces continuously throughout the day, and ensures our salon meets the highest standards of safety and cleanliness.
